FAQs

Do I qualify for a sales tax refund?
You need to prove that your merchandise is going to be exported and that it has not been used in the United States. You can do this by proving you are a US visitor showing a US Visa, your Passport and the date of when you will leave the country with the merchandise.
What do I need to create an account?
Simply create an account with your email address and a Non-US phone number.
How do I file a claim for a tax refund?
1) Scan a PDF version of your receipt and send it via email to recibos@manifiq.us. 2) Go to your nearest in-network Manifiq service provider. 3) Sign all the paperwork required by the State Comptroller. Receive a virtual refund of your money immediately.
What options do I have to access my funds?
You can access 100% of your money by spending at our participating retailers, hotels or restaurants. 2) If you want to cash out your money, you can do so at your participating in-network Manifiq provider, a 35% fee will apply to cover for the service.
How do I claim a refund at the participating retailers?
For National retailers you can buy an online gift card. Local retailers will display the Manifiq logo at checkout, just present your QR code and the store will scan it and charge you the dollar amount of your transaction. If you don’t have enough balance you will have to complete your payment with another payment method.
